    Video Studio upstairs?

A recent on-location video production shoot.  What made this different was the location.  Just upstairs from the Avant Studio is a kitchen.  The client needed footage of a promotional product that required a kitchen look and microwave.  The footage is part of a commercial to be aired in multiple national TV markets as well as online. Bon appétit!

The L.A. Kitchen. Their mission is to reclaim healthy, local food that would otherwise go to waste, and use it to empower, nourish and engage the community. Avant Production’s very own, Clark Severson, was the DP, errr Director of Photography when spelled out.

The L.A. Kitchen video shoot required the green screen studio, scenes in the parking lot, a dumpster, and along street curbs to name a few on-location spots. Clark even got a few cameos. Check out the L.A. Kitchen link below and see if you can identify Clark’s moments of glory. Instead of “Where’s Waldo?”, think of it as “Where’s Clark?”

  • Staging Delights the Client

    CWS Staging

Avant Productions has been producing annual meetings for one of our clients for over 10 years.  Avant has been orchestrating the sound, two rear-projection screens, video recording, and video playback for the 400+ audience.  This year, they wanted something different for the stage and their new company theme.  Avant Productions put together the elements and the props for an eye-popping stage display.  The colors, the theme, the lighting all came together for the meeting at the Newport Beach Marriott.  The highest compliment received was when the client contact said, “the staging was her favorite part of the event.”  Avant edited and created an online streaming version of the show to the company website making it available to all who could not personally attend the live event.

  • Show #30 in the can

His Way Home has just completed the 30th show in the Avant Productions green screen studio.  Show originator, Brett Miller, came looking for a production home for the show and found it at Avant’s video production studio.  Since December 2011, the Avant crew has been producing a half-hour show for broadcast.  Every few weeks a new show with an inspirational, positive message is recorded and produced in HD in the green screen studio.  His Way Home airs regularly on The Learning Channel and public access in California and Tennessee.

Yet, on January 27th 2012, Hermano Pablo tragically passed away. The AVANT team will definitely miss him, but thought a perfect way to pay tribute would be to do a live streaming broadcast on the internet for all of the countless fans he has inspired across the world. With hundreds of people logging on for the stream, we love that we were able to make the virtual connection to help those be a part of such a special time from the far corners of the globe.
